Have the last laugh with David Kau
DAVID KAU IS BACK FOR FINAL THREE SHOWS IN JOHANNESBURG, 28-30 September 2007 AT THE NEW VICTORY THEATRE, HOUGHTON ESTATES.
As the world’s first and only 100% BEEC – Black Economic Empowerment Comedian, David Kau shot to fame in the early 2000’s gracing the platform at major company events and has performed on the country’s top comedy shows like the Heavyweight Comedy Jams, the King Size Comedy shows around the country, and MC’ing the highly successful Blacks Only comedy shows for three years now. He has also had television exposure in the Pure Monate Show, a comedy sketch on SABC 1 where he is also a writer, and associate producer.
Politicians, cabinet members, celebrities and even the common folk and their essential survival items have been prey to the humourous grasp of the highly irreverent Kau.
On his one man show; “I did these jokes first” David Kau says:
The Madiba Jokes, the Always ultra pads, female condoms and Chakalaka, the Zimbabwean currency, Swaziland’s potholes, sex in eleven official languages, the weather, Americans, Black people this Black people that, Indian people this Indian People that, Coloured people this Coloured people that, White people this White people that … and Whichever Whatever other jokes I can remember since when I first started doing stand up comedy in October 1998, to the ones I would have written by the time you finish reading this – I’ll be doing them for the last time, and I will not repeat them again … “
