He speaks slow, but he thinks quick. Some call him South Africa's answer to Steven Wright. He is Chris Forrest, the deadpan face of South African comedy, with his unique dry sense of humour which has made him one of the country's most popular and versatile comedians. He is best known for his TV appearances, such as being one of the stars of the "Pure Monate Show" and numerous successful ad campaigns which include being Sasol's volunteer Olympic coach "Coach Joe", the "Yo" guy for the Vodacom Challenge, and the recent eBucks and Nando's ads where he played four different versions of himself. He's also had smaller roles on Komplex, and the Emmy-nominated episode of "Sorted".

As a live performer, Chris appears regularly on The Heavyweight Comedy Jam tour, as well as being an honorary black man on the successful Blacks Only Show. He regularly commands crowds in excess of three thousand as host of the King Size Comedy Shows and has taken his trademark dry wit internationally to audiences in London's West End to critical acclaim.

Tumi Morake is no stranger to the comedy circuit. Tumi's first stand up performance was scripted material for corporate events. She later went on to perform at the Rotaract charity event "Best Medicine" in the 2003 and 2004. Her popularity on big stage productions like the Blacks Only Comedy Shows, The Heavyweight Comedy Jams and more recently on the 46664 It's No Joke comedy show has left Tumi as one of the most sought after comedians. Her comedy has been described as in your face and slightly provocative. Audiences can expect the best of her set dating back to 2006, and a trip down memory lane about South Africa's preparations for 2010. She also promises to offer a cure for the post-World Cup babalaas.

As 46664 ambassadors Chris and Tumi played the It's No Joke comedy show at Sun City and Sandton Convention Centre as two of the top ten South African comics supporting the campaign.

Book your tickets now to see Chris Forrest and Tumi Morake on 4 July 2010 at the Fringe at the Joburg Theatre.
