His first concert production "When I Wake Up", sold out at the Nelson Mandela Theatre in May 2009. Jesse Clegg released his first CD “When I Wake Up” in October 2008 which has since charted two number 1 Singles countrywide and achieved gold status. Since the release of the album, he has also been nominated for 3 SAMAS, has performed around the country to sold out shows as well as being part of the Mandela Day at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on 18 July 2009 alongside the likes of Stevie Wonder, WILL.I.AM, Alicia Keyes, Wyclef Jean, Josh Groban and many more.
